1v1.LOL: the building shooter that fits in a browser tab
JustPlay.LOL made 1v1.LOL as a browser take on the build-and-shoot style Fortnite made famous, and it kept only the part that makes those fights interesting: two players, a shotgun, a rifle and building. Cover is not found, it is built. A wall goes up the instant you press Z, a ramp on C, and the player who edits a window into a wall first usually wins the exchange. The battle royale mode takes up to 16 players and adds loot and a shrinking zone, but the 1v1 duel is where the name comes from.
JustPlay.LOL shut the official servers down on November 3, 2025. The version on this domain is the Chapter 2 Unity client served from its own files, connected to the servers of 1v1.LOL RELOADED, a community-run revival that is not affiliated with the original developers. It is a large game — expect a loading bar the first time — and it runs on any laptop with WebGL, including school Chromebooks, but not in a phone browser. Matches are online, so a stable connection matters more than a fast machine.

Winning the 1v1
- Wall first, then think: The moment a fight starts, put a wall between you and the other player. Every other decision — ramp up, edit, reload — is made behind it.
- Ramp for height, not distance: A ramp gives you the high ground, and the player above wins most trades. Build one ramp, jump onto it, and shoot down.
- Learn one edit: The window edit on a wall is the one that matters: cut it, shoot through it, close it with a new wall. Drill it in Free Build until it is one motion.
- Shotgun up close, rifle at range: Do not fight through a shotgun blast with the rifle. Switch when you are within a wall's length of the other player.
- Use the practice modes: Free Build and Aim Trainer are in the Practice section. Use them to rebind keys you keep missing and to build ninety-degree turns until your hands stop thinking about which key is which.

Pro tip: When someone ramp-rushes you, shoot the bottom of their ramp. The pieces built on it come down and the height is yours instead.
